This stripped-down and child-friendly awarded version of the Old English epic Beowulf has been created on Scene of the Crime in Lejre, Denmark, and has performed on festivals in twenty countries on four continents.

Jesper, one of Denmark’s renowned storytellers, has been awarded several times internationally for his interactive style and unique social focus. Founder of The Telling Theatre and devised a model for creative storytelling called “Story Play”. He´s a trained actor, mime and storyteller.
Works as storyteller, actor and musician with his own theatre company: “Dunkelblå”. As storyteller, drawing on his experience from music and theatre, he has developed a strong physical style in collaboration with The Telling Theatre and performed for 22 years in Denmark and abroad.
