FEST online Forum: Storytelling and heritage nr.2

Wednesday 12th of November, 7 pm – 8.30 pm (CET)

To introduce stories and storytelling techniques in guiding tours

______________________________________________________

Dear all,

With its online thematic forums, FEST wants to build on the members’ expertise to foster professional
development in the network, to facilitate learning and to share knowledge and expertise.
For each forum we will introduce a storytelling topic, bring on board expert speakers and facilitate Q&As with all participants.

On 27th May we had our first forum on ‘Storytelling and Heritage’. We would like to go one step further in
this topic
 – based on the FEST-survey – and look at storytellers who have been working with tour guides.

In this forum we will talk about challenges, successes, needs, opportunities, examples of good and
bad practice
Three storytellers will present their work. After that there will be time for questions and discussions

We are pleased to present:

👉Dijana Zorić (Storylab, Zagreb/HR),
👉Daniel Serridge (Village Storytelling Centre, Glasgow/SCO) and

👉Arjen Barel (Amsterdam Storytelling Centre/NL)

Discussion and chat will be moderated by Milda Varnauskaite, Michala Piskačová and Guido Tilkin (FEST).
