Dear storyteller,
On Wednesday 27th of May at 19.00 CET, FEST organises an online forum on storytelling and value transfer, and storytelling in the digital age for all storytellers and storytelling fans.
FEST is partner in INSIDE-ACT, a European project to develop a new curriculum module for an ‘Immersive Storytelling Designer’ (ISD) in higher education. This curriculum will combine methods and tools from Design, Performing Arts, Social Sciences, and Digital technologies to create immersive digital environments (XR, VR) aimed at transmitting values and addressing social challenges.
FEST will be responsible for the definition and development of relevant storytelling competences and training methods with a focus on narrative development, social relevance, communication and value transfer.
The outcomes of this project will also lead to training material for storytellers interested to work in this sector.
During this online forum we will gather ideas, brainstorm and pool expertise on how we can intertwine the traditional storytelling methods and messages in the complex hybrid / digital world of today and how storytelling as a transmitter of values can be engaged for a bright tomorrow. The results will help us introduce storytelling in the digital world and offer new opportunities for storytellers.
